DIY- How to fix broken eyeshadow, powder, blush

Hi everybody ! I am the clumsiest person you'll ever see when it comes to handling makeup...I often drop my powders and blushes, so..I can't afford to lose all of them and stop using them when they break.

So, today I am going to show you, how to fix your broken makeup powders, blushes and eyeshadows....

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED :

1. Broken makeup item
2. A spoon that you don't use
3. Rubbing/surgical alcohol (available at any chemist)
4. A piece of cloth

STEP - 1

Break the blush even further with the spoon and turn it into a powder form

STEP - 2

Now add the rubbing alcohol and make a paste of the blush...Don't worry if you add too much alcohol because it is anyways going to get evaporated but the only thing is that the blush will take time to set.

STEP - 3

Now let the blush dry out for around 15-20 minutes, and then with a piece of cloth press down the blush gently but firmly...don't apply too much pressure otherwise you might crack the blush again.

STEP - 4

Leave the blush to dry in open air...you can leave it overnight also if you have added too much alcohol...

and....voila your blush will look new as ever !!!

I hope you guys found this post helpful...I tried to explain it clearly...but if you have any questions please feel free ask it below in the comments...

till my next post

xoxo prayati

*I have used Lakme pure rouge blusher in "Ginger surprise"

  9. Hey great tip! I broke my Nars blush :(
But tell me, could this be bad for the skin?

    1. thanks...no it is not at all bad for the skin...because the rubbing alcohol completely evaporates into the atmosphere and not even a single trace of alcohol is left in the blush if you let it dry completely ..... btw which nars blush ?? :P :)
