Tresemme Climate control shampoo and conditioner

Hey everyone ! today I am reviewing one of my favorite brands right now, which is tresemme..ever since tresemme came to India, I have been meaning to buy there products...so as soon as I spotted this shampoo and conditioner at DMart I decided to buy it....

MY HAIR TYPE: Rough, wavy, frizz prone, oily at the roots, dry at the ends

MY HAIR COLOR: Black

I'll review both the products one by one separately so that it is convenient to judge the quality of both the products

TRESEMME CLIMATE CONTROL SHAMPOO

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

Helps prevent frizz all day long by creating a barrier between your hair and the weather

Gentle enough, it hydrates and strengthens your hair everyday

PRICE

INR 128 for 225ml

MY TAKE

Ingredients

Contains:

SODIUM LAURETH SULPHATE: Commonly known as SLS is best avoided as it can cause scalp irritation, hair loss, headaches and eye irritation

PANTHENOL: It is a glossifier, detangler, and moisturising agent

KERATIN: Makes hair stronger and repairs damages

1. It has a creamy consistency and is white in color...the packaging is also very travel friendly

2. You need a very little amount to produce good lather and it also rinses off very easily

3. Hair becomes soft and mangeable even if you don't use a conditioner

4. I have noticed that my hair is shiny after using it...however I don't think it has done anything to reduce split ends or damage

LIKES

1. Awesome for people with dry and unmanageable hair
2. does what it claims, i.e. control frizz
3. does not contain parabens
4. easily available everywhere
5. travel friendly
6. affordable

DISLIKES

Contains SLS

FINAL RATING

4.5/5

I will definitely repurchase it again and recommend it to everyone

Easy Winter Makeup Look !

Hello girls !!!! I am astonished by the intensity of winters we have experienced in mumbai this time !! people took out their scarves, and donned burgundy and plum lip look this winter.....I also rocked my favorite dark lipsticks this time....

Here is a simple makeup tutorial which is perfect for fall and winter...i know winters are about to get over but i didn't want to miss the chance of putting up a tutorial anyway...

STEP - 1

1. Moisturize your face and apply foundation, I am using loreal infallible 24 hr foundation. This works well for me in winters

2. I then apply my Rimmel stay matte pressed powder to keep myself from being too shiny

3. I apply TBS lip and cheek stain on the apples of my cheeks and  then higlight the high points of my face with my favorite colorbar highlighter...you can check its review HERE

STEP-2

Defined brow look is very "in" this winter......I slightly fill in the scanty areas of my brows, brush them and set them with my nyx brow gel

STEP -3

1. Apply your favorite eye shadow primer so that your eye shadow stays on for long

2. Take a shimmery champagne color and apply it all over your eye lid and inner corners

3. Now take a pencil liner in black and apply it liberally on your upper and lower waterline...don't tug too much otherwise you might get wrinkles

4. Now take a liquid liner and apply it at the outer one third of your upper lash line, staying very close

5. Now curl your eye lashes and apply loads of mascara

STEP - 4

I am applying my current favorite burgundy lipstick which is faces go chic lipstick in "black cherry"

and you are done......here are some pictures that I took after I did this look

pouting can never be my thing..lol

haha

I hope you liked the post and if you try out the look then please send me a pic on fashionbeautyansme@gmail.com

Oriflame pure nature organic " acai and pomegranate" face wash

Hi everybody !! I am back....the trip was great.....and I enjoyed a lot with all my cousins and family....today I am going to review a face wash from oriflame......read on to know how it fared in my books...

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

Face wash with organic extracts
Lather and rinse off avoiding eye area

PRICE

INR 329 For 150 ml

MY TAKE

Ingredients

1. The packaging is travel friendly except the size of the bottle which is slightly long.

2. It is of liquid consistency so you have to be careful when you take the product out as a lot of product can get wasted

3. the fragrance is amazing....never smelt something so amazing in a face wash..probably that is the only plus point of this face wash

4. It does not do what a face wash is required to do...which is "cleanse".....it just sits on your face and...washes off with water

5. Does not lather at all....and does not remove any makeup....this is the worst face wash I have probably used in terms of cleansing.

LIKES

1. The fragrance - it is simply amazing

DISLIKES

1. oriflame products are only available through agents
2. Does not cleanse at all
3. Does not remove makeup
4. You don't feel fresh at all after using this
5. Does not lather

FINAL RATING

1/5

It is easily the worst face wash I have used till now...please do not buy this

a tutorial coming soon on the blog...stay tuned

Marks & Spencer floral collection "Rose" hand and body lotion

hi ladies ! today I am going to review a hand and body lotion by Marks & Spencer. I have been using it for past 1 month...so lets see if it lived up to my expectations...

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

With the fragrance of timeless english rose, this hand and body lotion is enriched with shea butter to condition and nourish, leaving it beautiflly scented, soft and smooth

*not recommended for facial use

PRICE

INR 299 for 250 ml

MY TAKE

Ingredients

1. The packaging is travel friendly, sleek and pump dispenser type. you can easily regulate the amount you need from the bottle

2. gets easily absorbed in the skin..leaving the skin feeling soft and supple

3. the fragrance is literally rose like and very fresh....but its a strong floral scent so people with sensitive noses may not like it.

4. the color of the cream is white with a slight hint of pink which is not visible on camera...

5. It may not be suitable for very dry skinned girls because the texture is very light...and is unlike body butters, which also makes them great summer moisturizers.

LIKES

1.Travel friendly packaging
2. absorbs easily on the skin
3. moisturizes well
4. ideal for combination and oily skin people
5. very nice rosy fragrance which lingers on for quite sometime

DISLIKES

1. Contains parabens
2. may not work for dry skin in winters

FINAL RATING

4/5

Overall an excellent moisturizer for summers and heaven for floral smell loving people

till the next post

DIY- How to fix broken eyeshadow, powder, blush

Hi everybody ! I am the clumsiest person you'll ever see when it comes to handling makeup...I often drop my powders and blushes, so..I can't afford to lose all of them and stop using them when they break.

So, today I am going to show you, how to fix your broken makeup powders, blushes and eyeshadows....

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED :

1. Broken makeup item
2. A spoon that you don't use
3. Rubbing/surgical alcohol (available at any chemist)
4. A piece of cloth

STEP - 1

Break the blush even further with the spoon and turn it into a powder form

STEP - 2

Now add the rubbing alcohol and make a paste of the blush...Don't worry if you add too much alcohol because it is anyways going to get evaporated but the only thing is that the blush will take time to set.

STEP - 3

Now let the blush dry out for around 15-20 minutes, and then with a piece of cloth press down the blush gently but firmly...don't apply too much pressure otherwise you might crack the blush again.

STEP - 4

Leave the blush to dry in open air...you can leave it overnight also if you have added too much alcohol...

and....voila your blush will look new as ever !!!

I hope you guys found this post helpful...I tried to explain it clearly...but if you have any questions please feel free ask it below in the comments...

till my next post

xoxo prayati
