Hello ladies !! HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY to you all !

Sharing a picture of what makeup I wore yesterday via my FACEBOOK  page....

Lets move on to the review now,

PUREDERM MANGO YOGURT PACK

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

Wash-off type massage mask

yogurt extract - skin softening and refresher

Mango extract - soothing and moisturizing

PRICE

INR 12 for 10 ml.

MY TAKE

Ingredients

CONTAINS:

Dimethicone: its a silicone oil used for smoothening of the skin

phyto collagen: contains anti-wrinkle properties

Mango extract: it aids in self - repair of the skin

Yogurt extract : we all know how good yogurt is for the skin

parabens: preservatives which harm the skin in more than one ways

1. First off the packaging is amazingly convenient and handy, just pull out the pack you want, tear it out and apply everything thats in the pack..one pack is enough for one person

2. It is of translucent consistency and it dries off pretty fast....it smells faintly off flavored yogurt..but the smell is very mild.

3. It does not irritate my skin and provides instant lift and youthfulness to the skin.

4. Makes my skin glowy and smooth. However, I would say that the effects don't last for a very long time

This is my freshly washed face

applying the mask on my face

and finally, this is how it looks after washing...do you see any difference ?? I sure do ! :D

On my nails today #4 Turquoise

Hi there !! how is your mid week coming along ?? I am just chilling at home and preparing for the upcoming group discussions and interviews that are held for the entry in every MBA college.

I believe in giving a 2-3 day break to my nails after every week because your nails need to breathe and absorb moisture from the air

Some tips to keep your nails healthy:

1. Never bite your nails, you intake bacteria and also your nails become brittle and dehydrated
2. wear rubber cloth or gloves whenever you do house work or wash dishes
3. Include egg and milk in your diet, they are essential for strong nails
4. Apply vitamin E oil to your nails as often as possible to make your cuticles soft, reduce discoloration and make your nails stronger
5. avoid polish removers with acetone and alcohol

Now with that said, lets come to today's manicure

I did a turquoise on all my fingers and three coats of maybelline glitter polish on the ring finger. It feels really springish, sexy and elegant at the same time. As I am not that big on nail arts, I decided why not do something different yet easy !

These are the polishes I used.

Maybelline coloroma nail paint in "glitter prata"

Elle18 nail pops in the shade no. 53

I did not want to use this glitter as I wanted a metallic glitter that should be almost opaque, like with very fine glitter particles, if you find such nail polish please comment below..

Here are some more pictures of the manicure

hope you like this easy manicure

and do let me know if you try this combination

till the next post

February Favorites !!!

Hello girls !!!! I am here with my February favorites today ! I used pretty much the same hair and skin care products this month....and there were some new fun discoveries as far as the food favorites are concerned..

so lets start with the favorites, shall we ?

1. MAKEUP FAVORITES

1.1) Garnier BB cream

It is  not a wonder product, and I would still say that I love my maybelline BB cream better, but this one is convenient to use and easy to blend out. It doesn't make much of a difference to your appearance but brightens up the face a little bit. I like using this when I am going out to run errands...or a trip to the nearby convenience store

1.2) Faces blending brush in no. 106

OMG, this brush is soo soft and it makes blending such an easy task. I love that it is slightly tapered which helps in keeping the eyeshadow within the boundaries...it does not shed and overall I am in love with this brush

1.3) Elle 18 lipstick in "pinken"

this month was all about neutrals on the lips as the whether was drying and the scorching heat was killing me. I love this one because it is very moisturizing on the lips and the shade is very natural ..like you haven't put on anything on the lips but they still look pretty and bright

1.4) Colorbar take me as I am in :"flirtatious pink"

This one is my ultimate favorite because it gives a slight hint of pink without being dramatic, this can be worn with both neutral and smokey eyes, however, I feel that it is a little bit drying on the lips

1.4) Mac paint pot in "indianwood"

this is such an amazing cream eyeshadow, you can use it as an overall lid color and as an inner corner highlight as well as a base for other eyeshadows...I love this because it gives a subtle definition without being dramatic and it looks absolutely fabulous when worn by itself also

1.5) China Glaze nail paint in "scarlet"

OMG, This is the best red nail polish I have ever had...you need to have this in your nail polish stash otherwise its incomplete , seriously...go buy it now...yes NOW

2. SKIN CARE FAVORITE

Nivea happy time roll on

as I told you, I did not change my skincare products this month, however, I did start using this roll on after my beautiful underarms one got over, its very refreshing, helps with sweating...and has a mild soothing smell

ps: I don't use deodorants as I am against the use of alcohol based deodorants

3. HAIR CARE FAVORITE

Schwarzkopf BC moisture kick leave in conditioner

I love this stuff, I use it after coming out of the shower on freshly washed hair, and it does a great job in making my hair soft and shiny...everybody needs to give it a try atleast once..I will be reviewing it soon as it is about to get over

4. FOOD FAVORITES

4.1) Tong Garden salted pumpkin crunchies

OMG, guys you need to try this, it tastes yummy..it is just dried and salted pumpkin seeds, it is great for health and whenever you feel like munching, you can munch on these healthy snacks

4.2) Sun Gift Dried Figs

These are fatless, do not contain any added sugar and a good source of dietary fibre...they are good for having when you feel like having something sweet but do not want to break your health bank for that..give it a go guys, it tastes delicious

5. FASHION FAVORITES

5.1). Clutch

This was a great thrift find from colaba causeway, it is compact yet carries all my things and suits all kinds of ethnic wear...I love this one

5.2) Floral scarf

This chiffon scarf, is great for spring and summer...I Throw it on and I am good to go, without any other accessories, it does not sweat me up in this mumbai heat and keeps things airy....

6. FAVORITE MUSIC

This is a very old song by Bryan Adams, but I keep singing it all the time. I love Bryan Adams, and I love his every song...but this song is awesomer than the other songs

"please forgive me"

That concludes my this month's favorites...hope you liked them..tell me in the comments below what you were loving in the month of February, coz I'd love to read that

till the next post

Colorbar true gloss - FRESH PINK 008

Hello everybody !! sorry for being MIA for a few days, I was busy with my CMAT exam...comment below if you are giving cmat too :)

Today, I am going to review my current favorite lip gloss which is Colorbar true gloss in "fresh pink", I love the true gloss range as its very pigmented and lasts for a long time...so without further ado, lets get started !!

WHAT THE COMPANY CLAIMS

An oil free formulation that gives the skin a clean matte finish
easy to apply and stays on all day
with SPF 15, it protects the skin and keeps it looking radiant and fresh

PRICE

INR 495 for 3.8 ml

MY TAKE

1. The packaging is a transparent tube type packaging, with a metallic screw cap...I like how sleek and shiny it is...and I love carrying it with me everywhere

2. The wand is long and the applicator is spongy and slanted for easy application

3. It applies pretty well in two coats, however 3 layers of this gloss looks absolutely fabulous. The smell is pleasant and and the gloss stays put even after drinks and food

4. The gloss is slightly drying on the lips, however, if you apply it over a lip balm then it looks absolutely flawless.

5. It is a very bright pink color and if you are not the experimenting type like me then you can skip it but if you love sporting bright funky colors then its a must have

LIKES

1. Very pretty bright pink color, that will suit most skin tones
2. attractive packaging
3. good quantity for the price
4. can be worn alone without any lipstick also
5. contains SPF 15

DISLIKES

1. Ingredients not mentioned
2. little drying on the lips but that problem can be solved by applying lip balm underneath

this is how I like to wear it

PS: I haven't put any makeup on except the gloss...please excuse me for that

FINAL RATING

4.5/5

I will purchase more shades from this range as I absolutely love it

till the next post

How I like to eat my Pasta !

Hi guys !!! I am a big time foodie !!!! and I literally "live to eat", I can eat at anytime of the day and I love experimenting with food...I am an occasional cook....and I always try to put my own twist in whatever I make...I think this is the trait, I have inherited from my father...he is an awesome cook and always teaches me and my brother new ways to put innovation and experimentation in cooking.

Today I am going to show you how I like to eat my pasta....hopefully you guys will also like this recipe and try it out...so without further ado, lets get started !

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Your favorite tomato sauce
2. oregano
3. 1 cheese spread and grated cheese about 1 small bowl
4. 1 big diced onion
5. Red, yellow and green bell pepper (amount according to your choice)
6. 7-8 cloves of garlic
7. puree of around 3-4 small tomatoes (I recommend getting off your lazy bum and preparing it fresh)
8. 1 small cup of green peas
9. 1 big bowl of your favorite pasta
10. salt, black pepper and sugar to taste

STEP -1

Put a teaspoon of olive oil in a saucepan and put the garlic in it...

STEP-2

Now when the garlic turns golden, put the onion and saute for 1 minute

STEP - 3

Now put all the veggies and salt and let it simmer for atleast 7-8 minutes. You can put a tiny bit of water to allow the veggies to cook properly

simmering away........

STEP -4

Now when all the veggies are cooked properly, put 1 cheese spread on it, so that the consistency becomes creamy

Delicious !!!!!!!!!!

STEP- 5

Now put the pasta and add oregano, black pepper and desired amount of tomato sauce in it. and stir and mix for a minute or two...

Now the last part is to serve it with the garnishing of grated cheese on it

and......your pasta is ready !!!

I hope you liked this recipe....please do try it and let me know how it works out

eagerly waiting for the comments
