Lakme Absolute flutter secrets volumizing mascara

Hello Ladies !! I am a full on mascara junkie and I love hoarding up on mascaras.....I always tend to experiment with different kinds of mascaras....today, I am going to be reviewing a mascara by the Absolute range of lakme.....

SO, lets get started !!!

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

Intense volume

waterproof

smudgeproof

long lasting hold

PRICE

INR 450

MY TAKE

1. The packaging is plain black and it has a long wand with medium thickness of bristles

2. The bristles are quite coarse and small and stiff...the shape of the bristles is nothing special...its similar to the regular mascaras

3. The claims of being waterproof are true as it does not ruin my eyes when I cry...lol

4. You will see in the pictures below that it does not do anything dramatic to my eyes....so I don't think its a very good mascara...I am not a big fan of it..

5. It clumps like crazy...even after only 1 coat, I see a lot of clumping....

6. It dries really fast...which makes it difficult to work with

You can see that it does not make much difference even after 3 coats...and clumps and spreads everywhere

*For the purpose of true demonstration, I have not curled my eyes with an eyelash curler

LIKES

1. Waterproof
2. Lasts a long time
3. Affordable for a mascara

DISLIKES

1. Boring packaging
2. regular wand
3. No volumizing affect
4. Normal curling effect..nothing too special
5. Clumps and smudges
6. Ingredient list not mentioned

FINAL RATING

2.5/5

I will not buy this again and won't recommend it to anybody, however, its an ok mascara for the prize, but maybelline mascaras are cheaper and work better than this one

DIY- How to fix broken eyeshadow, powder, blush

Hi everybody ! I am the clumsiest person you'll ever see when it comes to handling makeup...I often drop my powders and blushes, so..I can't afford to lose all of them and stop using them when they break.

So, today I am going to show you, how to fix your broken makeup powders, blushes and eyeshadows....

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED :

1. Broken makeup item
2. A spoon that you don't use
3. Rubbing/surgical alcohol (available at any chemist)
4. A piece of cloth

STEP - 1

Break the blush even further with the spoon and turn it into a powder form

STEP - 2

Now add the rubbing alcohol and make a paste of the blush...Don't worry if you add too much alcohol because it is anyways going to get evaporated but the only thing is that the blush will take time to set.

STEP - 3

Now let the blush dry out for around 15-20 minutes, and then with a piece of cloth press down the blush gently but firmly...don't apply too much pressure otherwise you might crack the blush again.

STEP - 4

Leave the blush to dry in open air...you can leave it overnight also if you have added too much alcohol...

and....voila your blush will look new as ever !!!

I hope you guys found this post helpful...I tried to explain it clearly...but if you have any questions please feel free ask it below in the comments...
