Empties post ; products I have used up #1

Hi guys !!! so, I went to Udaipur to enjoy my vacations before college starts, I am finally moving on 2nd June...I don't know how to describe this feeling..Its really sad leaving my family for two years..but I know I'l make them proud and live upto their expectations....wish me luck guys ! I need it badly right now.

Note: To all the wonderful blogs, I follow...sorry I have been really busy these few days...I will check out your blogs and posts after 5th June...

These are some products I finished up in the past two months, so, instead of doing a monthly favorites post..I am doing this...I hope you enjoy !!

1. SUNSILK KERATINOLOGY HEAT PROTECTOR SPRAY

Works pretty decent, protects hair from damage...however, my spray nozzle stopped working half way through the bottle, so I had to transfer it into another bottle

2. SUNSILK PERFECT STRAIGHT NOURISHING CONDITIONER

One of the best conditioners I have used till now, manages frizz really well, little goes a long way and works efficiently with other shampoos too.

3. PARK AVENUE BEER SHAMPOO

Another hyped product, I did not like this shampoo at all, It made my hair dry and frizzy, it does not come with a conditioner and you need a lot of product to produce good lather..I do NOT recommend it at all.

4. REVAYUR FRUITY BODY WASH

Please do not buy this body wash ever !!!!! Its the worst body wash I have ever used, the beads do not break, it does not lather...and it does not clean my body at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. MARKS & SPENCER ESSENTIAL EXTRACTS COCOA BUTTER & VANILLA SHOWER GEL

Amazing smell, makes my skin smooth and clean...definitely worth a try...you really need to try this, its the best shower gel ever !!!

6. MARKS & SPENCER FLORAL COLLECTION LILY OF THE VALLEY HAND AND BODY LOTION

I can't even tell you how fresh this smells..I have tried the entire floral collection range and so far, I think this is the best summer body lotion ever..do give this a try

7. NIVEA REFRESHINGLY SOFT CREAM

This is a good cream but it didn't work for my combination skin, if you have oily skin, I do not recommend it especially during summers

8. AYUR DEEP PORE CLEANSING MILK

One of the best affordable makeup removers I have come across, try this and you will forget all the high end makeup removers..When I went to the inglot store for my makeover, The SA was using this..lol...believe it..

9. NIVEA PURE EFFECT TOTAL FACE CLEANUP

I have already raved about it in this post HERE

10. CLEAN & CLEAR BLACKHEAD CLEARING DAILY SCRUB

If you have a habit of scrubbing your face daily like me then this is for you..it is mild and works well for my skin type

11. CLEAN & CLEAR MORNING ENERGY FACE WASH "BRIGHTENING BERRY"

Bloggers rave about it, but honestly speaking, I did not like it that much..it does not remove my makeup, the beads so not break,, and the consistency is too runny...wont recommend it at all

12. MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM LIP BALM IN "PEACH BLOSSOM"

Love this lip balm...gives a nice peachy sheen without looking over the top and moisturizes lips well...totally going to buy it again

Marks & Spencer 'the floral collection', "Iris" moisture rich shower cream

Hi guys !! First of all, I am really sorry for the bad picture quality and background in this post, I was just not in that zone today, but I wanted to put a post up anyways...I promise to click better pictures next time.

Moving on, I love using the floral collection range of body washes and moisturizers..they are very creamy and I love the scent of them....I have almost the entire range with me I think....

Today I am reviewing this shower cream from the same range,

WHAT IT CLAIMS

Capturing the classic floral fragrance of Iris, this luxurious foaming shower cream will gently cleanse your skin leaving it soft, smooth and beautifully scented

Ingredients

CONTAINS

Sodium laureth sulphate : Commonly known as SLS you need to know that it is very harmful for your eyes and skin

Iris extract: it helps fighting against wrinkles, dryness and skin slackering

Parabens: very bad reputation of causing various diseases

1. It has a very cute packaging with flip-flop packaging which is quite sturdy...I have travelled with it and it did not leak or stain

2. It has a creamy consistency and it lathers very well...only a few drops are enough to give you rich foam

3. The scent is really florally and mild...however it does not linger on for a long time which is kind of bad but its okay because it keeps me fresh all day long

4. It does what it claims and cleanses my skin very well, leaving it soft and smooth...I have noticed that I perspire less after using it

LIKES

1. Provides rich lather

2. Little goes a long way

3. Leaves skin soft and refreshed

4. Cleanses well

DISLIKES

1. Contains harmful ingredients

2. Kinda pricey for a shower cream

A bit of everything HAUL !!

Hello ladies and girls..lol ! Last month (january) has been all about travelling, I went to two places Bhopal and my native Udaipur.....I bought some Elle18 stuff from Udaipur as I don't find this brand anywhere in Mumbai.....I also did a little antique jewellery shopping from there.....rest of the stuff is everything that I have been from shopping from malls and my local beauty shop this past month.....so, without further ado, lets get started !!

I wanted a hair dryer that can get the job done in emergencies...as I believe in air drying my hair

2. Veet easy-grip ready to use wax strips

Anne french soothing aloe hair removing cream

I usually go for professional waxing and threading but I keep a stock of these to be used in emergencies...I got a free sample sized Himalaya body lotion along with the anne french cream

3. Fabindia tea tree, cleansing and rejuvenating soap

Always wanted to try their soaps, I was tempted to try the rose one but settled for this because of the "tea tree" mention on it !

4. Fabindia aloe vera under eye gel

I read good reviews about it and well, it was quite affordable for an under eye gel !

5. Davis eye glitter pencils in no. 14 and 15

PRICE - Gifted

So, when I went to Bhopal, my cousin sister gifted these to me....and it was very sweet of her to care enough to give me something related to makeup

Lipsticks call out to me, we have a connection that nobody ever understands, they are my soulmate and I buy atleast one lipstick on every shopping trip that I take

the maybelline eyeliner is a baby pink color eyeliner, that'l be perfect for under eye application or defining the inner third of the eyelid

okay, can we have a moment to appreciate the entrance of official drugstore blotting sheets in India, they even have a flavor or shade or color lol I don't know its "pink grapefruit" but wait a minute....why the f*** does it say limited edition on it ?????? :0

I had to get them ....look they are so cheap lol....i got them in "mango yogurt", "strawberry yogurt", vitalizing green tea", and "hydro soothing aloe"

14. Lion ring

I died when I saw this beautiful ring sitting in the corner of the shop...it was destined to be mine

15.  Choker necklace

This is a traditional rajasthani ornament, it'll look great when styled with a collared shirt 

16. Bourjois pot blush in the shade "rose eclat"

18. Biotique bio green apple fresh daily purifying shampoo and conditioner

TOH HUA UNN.....that I used this shampoo at my cousin sister's place and I loved it...so she gave the unused bottle to me as a gift...isn't she a sweetheart ?

19. Victoria's secret "endless love" apple blossom and ylang ylang fragrance mist

I have a rule, if I find victoria's secret anywhere, I have to buy something from it....

20. Marks & Spencer "floral collection" rose body splash

I think I am going crazy with this floral collection...I have its body lotions, shower gels, body mists...lol.

21. Cheetah/animal print cami from ZARA

I love love love this......I am going to zara to buy more of these in different colors.....

22. Linen cardigan from ZARA

Its a beautiful coral linen cardigan..which is of high - low type...I love this thing to death....going to wear it everyday of my life..lol

Marks & Spencer floral collection "Rose" hand and body lotion

hi ladies ! today I am going to review a hand and body lotion by Marks & Spencer. I have been using it for past 1 month...so lets see if it lived up to my expectations...

 

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

 With the fragrance of timeless english rose, this hand and body lotion is enriched with shea butter to condition and nourish, leaving it beautiflly scented, soft and smooth

*not recommended for facial use

MY TAKE

Ingredients

 

1. The packaging is travel friendly, sleek and pump dispenser type. you can easily regulate the amount you need from the bottle

2. gets easily absorbed in the skin..leaving the skin feeling soft and supple

3. the fragrance is literally rose like and very fresh....but its a strong floral scent so people with sensitive noses may not like it.

4. the color of the cream is white with a slight hint of pink which is not visible on camera...

5. It may not be suitable for very dry skinned girls because the texture is very light...and is unlike body butters, which also makes them great summer moisturizers.

 

 

LIKES

1.Travel friendly packaging

2. absorbs easily on the skin

3. moisturizes well

4. ideal for combination and oily skin people

5. very nice rosy fragrance which lingers on for quite sometime

DISLIKES

1. Contains parabens

2. may not work for dry skin in winters

Marks and Spencer waterlily cream bath

hello ladies ! I am deeply saddened by what is happening in this country today.....I have never met a single woman ever in my life who has not been molested, eve-teased or sexually assaulted in this country including me.....is it a a crime to take birth in this country as a girl ?? I see people asking their daughters not to wear skirts and apply makeup...i mean what the heck !!! why are people giving power to these animals by stopping their daughters to do what they want......I thought i will not discuss this issue on my blog but even after so much agitation in this country i still saw in the news that a woman in kolkatta was gang raped in front of her husband and killed....

If you own a smart phone please download an app called "SOS" from your android market, it is a very good app which traces your location and sends a message to three of your closed ones along with your location. i hope this helps some of you girls out there....

Anyway, moving on, I am reviewing a body wash today its by marks and spencer....i am using this body wash since past 6 months....and its almost finished now..

MY TAKE

Ingredients

 

contains parabens but as they are written on the bottom part of the ingredient list this means that a very small amount is added in the body wash.

1. The consistency of the body wash is very runny, however a very small amount is needed to produce good lather

although it looks transparent on the skin, it is baby pink in color...i love how it looks and feels on my skin

2. It lathers well and leaves my skin clean and odour free.....

3. the smell of the body wash is florally and lingers on for about 2-3 hours....i love its smell...very relaxing and reviving

4. the packaging is such that you have to be careful while taking it on your loofah as more than required amount of product tends to come out.

LIKES

1. Invigorating fragrance

2. thoroughly cleanses the skin

3. very small amount is required to get a good amount of lather

4.  relaxing and stress relieving smell
